OUR BELIEF
As students change the way they think, they change the way they act. Positive psychology is to help people see themselves and think for themselves, so that they can live their life and flourish. See our methods. For details:[email protected]

Positive Education = Mental Health?
Not just that! Positive education is the application of positive psychology in education. The model of positive education that Prof. Martin Seligman and Dr. Alejandro Adler adopt worldwide (i.e. Australia, Bhutan, USA, Mexico, Peru, Philippines) emphasises BOTH academic skills and the skills of wellbeing. It is hard to disconnect the two when it comes to student wellbeing. Beyond that, it highlights the importance of teacher wellbeing and positive parenting as essential ingredients of the healthy development of students. School Programs
The program aims to facilitate students towards self-actualisation with positive beliefs and well-formed strategies. The thematic programs are designed for Grade 7 - Grade 11 students. We interviewed secondary school principals and identified issues facing most high school students in Hong Kong. Since 2014, we have developed 4 thematic school programs in response to the needs of local students. We base our program on Dr. Martin Seligman’s positive psychology model and supplement that with Dr. L. Michael Hall’s coaching methods to cater for individual needs. We make sure we engage both our students and their parents with positive emotions, positive relationship, and facilitate them to develop meanings behind their moves so that the changes in them will sustain. Every student will be given a personalised report after the program. The report tracks the changes of beliefs and frames within the student during the program. The report is also a means for schools and teachers to understand their students at a deeper level. We work with teachers after every program and provide useful pedagogical advice with the hope to reinforce students' positive changes in the program. |
