Currently co-opted member of HKSAR government Youth Development Commission under the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau. Mr. Chung presented in the Positive Psychology World Congress and the Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness. He is a member of the positive education expert team and is serving as school manager. Mr. Chung advises organizations on positive psychology implementation. Mr. Chung holds a masters in Positive Psychology from University of Pennsylvania and he is a certified Meta Coach.
Mr. Chung has previously worked in a Fortune 500 company as recruitment consultant before transitioning into the field of education. In 2014, he founded Teengineer (Institute of Positive Psychology). In 2016, he designed the ‘Jockey Club Bounce Back Program,’ and received outstanding research recognition from the City University of Hong Kong and benefited over 200 executive leaders and 400 youths. In 2020, he collaborated with the Chief Secretary for Administration's Office in the ‘Life Buddies’ mentorship program, mobilizing over 40 multinational corporations and government departments in the service for schools. His on-going project since 2022 is a positive psychology project with the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists, which was selected by the Medical Protection Society (MPS) as one of the 13 funded projects worldwide.
Mr. Chung has media coverage on ViuTV, Hong Kong Commercial Daily, Hong Kong Economic Journal, The Standard, and Sing Tao Daily, where he shares his insights. Mr. Chung hopes that everyone in society can live a flourishing life and achieve unity in diversity, ultimately contributing to a harmonious world.
